A new Loyal 2 Local guide for all things local
As we head into our 8th program year, we are excited to announce Love 2B Local.
Our goal is for Love 2B Local to be your go-to guide for all the retail shopping, services, dining, and entertainment experiences our business community has to offer from our member businesses.
Each year we have more than 100 businesses participate in the program. We will use this platform to curate shopping guides, event promotions, and useful information when making a decision to patronize local businesses, whether you are shopping for yourself, your family and friends, or your business.
We will also be enhancing our business directory to provide more information about our member businesses so you can make an informed decision about where to shop locally in the Dickinson County area.

The storefronts you see when driving through our downtown districts and business corridors are there because of the businesses you might not notice every day (unless you know someone employed there.) We are talking about the businesses that provide products and services to other businesses.
A healthy business community relies on a diverse supplier base with knowledgeable and personalized customer service, whether selling copiers and printers or producing signage, banners, or marketing materials.
These businesses are generally larger than your mom-and-pop retailers and restaurants, resulting in a bigger economic impact through tax revenue and more investment in local nonprofit organization fundraisers, community events, and youth activities.
